Hardwood is the term used to describe woods from deciduous and evergreen broad-leaved trees. The term does not necessarily imply that all hardwoods are harder than softwoods, though in most cases they are, with certain exceptions. Hardwoods are generally more complex in structure than softwoods and the dominant feature separating hardwoods from softwoods is the presence of pores. Most hardwoods are much more valuable than softwoods and are commercially used in a wide variety of applications including construction, furniture, floorings, decorations, veneering, interior joinery, exterior joinery and much more.
Hardwood is a major part of our business and we trade a wide array of hardwood species.
